Ogbakor Ikwerre USA/Canada is a vibrant social-cultural non-profit organization dedicated to fostering unity, preserving the rich cultural heritage, and promoting the welfare of the Ikwerre people from Southern Nigeria residing in the United States and Canada. Our organization serves as a bridge, connecting Ikwerre communities across North America while maintaining strong ties with our roots in Nigeria.

Our Mission

Our mission is to:
– Promote Cultural Heritage: Preserve and promote the unique traditions, languages, and customs of the Ikwerre people through cultural events, educational programs, and community gatherings.
– Foster Unity and Solidarity: Strengthen the bonds among Ikwerre individuals and families living in North America, creating a supportive and cohesive community.
– Support Development Initiatives: Contribute to the socio-economic development of Ikwerre land in Nigeria through various philanthropic projects, educational scholarships, and healthcare initiatives.
– Advocate for the Ikwerre Community: Serve as a voice for the Ikwerre people, advocating for their rights and interests in the diaspora and promoting positive representation.
